Puede sentirse tambi\u00e9n como sabor met\u00e1lico, amargo o rancio.<\/p><p>Seg\u00fan el National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), los trastornos del gusto pueden ser causados por infecciones, medicamentos, problemas metab\u00f3licos, envejecimiento o alteraciones en las gl\u00e1ndulas salivales.<\/p><p>La saliva cumple un papel clave: disuelve las part\u00edculas de los alimentos y permite que los receptores gustativos env\u00eden se\u00f1ales al cerebro. Deshidrataci\u00f3n<\/h3><p>Cuando el cuerpo pierde l\u00edquidos, la saliva se vuelve m\u00e1s concentrada en minerales, generando <b>sabor salado en la boca<\/b>.<\/p><p>S\u00edntomas acompa\u00f1antes:<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Sed intensa<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Orina oscura<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Mareos<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Fatiga<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Disminuci\u00f3n de la micci\u00f3n<\/li><\/ul><h3>3. Enfermedad por Reflujo Gastroesof\u00e1gico (ERGE)<\/h3><p>La <b>ERGE<\/b> ocurre cuando el \u00e1cido del est\u00f3mago asciende hacia el es\u00f3fago y, en algunos casos, hasta la boca.<\/p><p>S\u00edntomas t\u00edpicos:<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Acidez estomacal<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Sabor agrio o salado<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Tos cr\u00f3nica<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Sensaci\u00f3n de cuerpo extra\u00f1o en la garganta<\/li><\/ul><p>Si no se trata, puede causar inflamaci\u00f3n esof\u00e1gica.<\/p><h3>5.
